with my naked soul i lay
dawn unfolds a brand new day
closed eyes hold the world at bay
while in the warmth i gratefully stay
todays clean washing blows in the breeze
somewhere folk set sail upon the seas
the sun will rise or rain may fall
a world of unknown beyond my wall
strangers arrive and friends depart
leaving footprints in our heart
we bow to their Light upon one knee
knowing they must fly, knowing they are free
i hear music stream in, i smell the melody
notes showing promise of what Life can be
dreams like roots become the tree
Magnificence awaiting birth in you and me
im learning to love, to love and let go
neither time nor distance can hinder the flow
and if we must suffer, i know we can grow
